imageRockstar's Grand Theft Auto series is huge-both in terms of world size, content, and popularity
Whenever a new GTA game is launched, its sales shoot through the roof almost immediately
People just can't seem to get enough of its open world gameplay, criminal activities, memorable cities, etc
The newest game in the series, GTA V, was released in September 2013, and it was hugely successful
There are enough aspects to GTA V for us to go on all day talking about it, so instead, let's focus in on the combat system
While there are linear missions that are necessary to complete to progress in the story, you'll probably spend a good deal of time roaming the world, which is completely open from the start
Numerous methods of transportation are available to you so you can explore the city of Los Santos and its surrounding countryside, but since you're playing as criminals, after all, you'll probably do a lot of fighting, as well
When fighting, you should keep an eye on your armor and health meters at all times, because if your health is entirely depleted, you'll die
Combat is handled in third-person, and consists of melee weapons, firearms, throwable weapons, and more
There is also a cover system to help your defense, and an auto-aim system to help your offense
Your characters' stats and skills will be very important as you proceed, as will their Special Abilities
Keep your eye on the Special Ability meter, as well, because you never know when you'll need that extra edge
Each of the three playable characters has his own Special Ability
Michael's Special Ability slows down time when he's fighting on foot, which makes it much easier for you to aim at enemies
Franklin's Special Ability slows down time when he's in a ground-based vehicle, which makes it easier for you to navigate through traffic and perform difficult vehicular maneuvers
Finally, Trevor's Special Ability allows him to sustain great amounts of damage without losing health and inflict twice the normal amount of damage with his attacks
Additionally, each character has his own way of recharging the meter: Michael needs to drive fast and kill opponents in special ways, Franklin needs to perform stunts while in a vehicle, and Trevor needs to drive fast, kill opponents, and take damage
There are a few GTA V cheats that will help you out in combat, although you can't use cheats during missions
One code, when entered, makes you completely invincible for five minutes
You can enter it as many times as you like-just make sure you aren't in too dangerous of a situation when your five minutes runs out
Another refills your health and armor, which can be even better than invincibility in certain situations
Of course, there are cheats related specifically to weapons, but don't forget about those Special Abilities
If you're having trouble recharging your Special Ability meter, you can enter a certain cheat code to instantly replenish it
These sorts of codes should make combat much easier, especially if you just want to run around and have a good time
Grand Theft Auto V, or GTA 5, isn't only the digital pastime of the gamer guys
GTA fans are just as likely to be gals as guys and that segment of the fanbase seems to shatter the popular otion that Grand Theft Auto is too violent, exploitative or negative for players in general
Grand Theft Auto 5 has been shattering sales records for awhile now
The simple fact is its success didn't come out of nowhere
The four previous installments have all done exceedingly well, but GTA V has become one of the most profitable and the fastest selling entertainment product in history
All of those dollars moving from credit and debit cards through cyberspace into the account of Rockstar Games, the publisher of the hugely popular GTA video game series, isn't only coming from the male demographic of the audience
Women gamers are definitely digging the GTA vibe too
While talking to NPR, Chelsea Stark, a fan and Mashable critic, summed it up like this, "Everything is clearly this satirical image of Los Angeles and Southern California
And it's almost like appreciating something like South Park, where you're like, this is just satire of what criminals are
When the monster mashing video game, Doom came out, critics said it would devolve society and turn us all into violent demon hunters
Similar charges were made against games like "Mortal Kombat" and "Resident Evil", and society still hums along just fine, thank you
GTA may be an ultra realistic head trip - though firmly set in a fantasy laden satirical world - but in the end, it's merely a game
That both men and women can agree on its fun factor, when too often games don't attract both genders, says something about the basic escapism of Grand Theft Auto's addictive play
The highly anticipated open world video game Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to be released September 17th, with many preorders sold nationwide, the mega blockbuster has an extremely large fan base and many are predicting a lot more violence, nudity, and mayhem
Set in a resemblance to Southern California, the cities are set with a number of gangs, prostitution, and drug dealers, its hard to go a second in the game with out looking at some form of violence
So what will make this game any different then the others
Bullet time which is a mode where the main character of the game slows down time to give his team mates a better accuracy at shooting victims while in a drive-by shooting
Some of the nudity in the game will come from strip clubs or from prostitutes eager to make an extra buck
The enhanced graphics make the game come to life like never before creating more of a real life effect in the crimes being committed such as beating somebody in the head with a baseball bat the wounds are life like making the game extremely violent
Most of the game follows its predecessors but with fast rich graphics and better game play including 16 player online multiplayer, it will be worth the wait for many since the games reveal back in 2011, but for many moms, and dads its just another reason to lockup their children's game consoles when at work
We have either been provided one by our employer, presented one as a gift by a client, or bought one because their so damn convenient
These days they often come branded and data loaded especially if you have received it rather than purchased it
USB sticks are growing in popularity and are beginning to replace CD
s, particularly as a marketing tool for obvious reasons
The concept that may drive changes to this popular means of storing data remotely is online in origin
Free web storage is a rapidly growing area of the online world
com seemed to be the most interesting case in point
Now 2GB is quite a lot, however, USB sticks now come in sizes up to 32GB
com offers unlimited online back up for as low as $4
s pretty good but not as cheap as buying a 32GB stick and using it for the next couple of years
Now if you have audio and video files to transfer and lets face it, its not necessarily text people want to back up these days, then you will be limited by the upload speed of your internet service provider
USB drives however can write at about 15 mbps and read at around double that
This is a significant difference and worth thinking about when comparing your options
When looking at the corporate sphere, many corporate web sites have downloadable documents available both within their public spaces as well as their well healed intranets and extranets
The advantage of providing pre-prepared data loaded information on a USB stick is that your employees and clients don
t have to go tramping around looking for it, you have serviced them and taken the leg work out of the equation ensuring that your message is only one click away
From our little comparison, it seems that USB drive may have a little life in them yet
Of course here in Australia the government is planning a national broadband roll out to all states and territories over the next 6 years
Apparently this will provide 90% of Australians with 100mbps via cable and the remaining regional areas with 12mbps via satellite
In addition, as the cost of server and hard drive space continues to drop in price, I
com will be upping their free data allocation enticing more of us online for data storage
When that happens, the only thing likely to be swinging around your neck, will be the familiar sound of your jewelry

About two months ago my brother purchaced the game Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA V)
I have been playing it and I have enjoyed it but there are a few things I'm not fond of
In the game it's all about robberies, betrayal and corruption
In my opinion there are not enough robberies though
I love the storyline but you only get to rob two or three places and money is a very easy thing to blow through
Cars, ammo, and guns are all very expensive products that you can buy
Real estate is a very expensive thing in GTA V also
So, in the long run, heists are your main source of money in the game
Another problem I have is that I find the game short
If the game was longer and a bit more difficult it would be my favorite game, but now due to those two variables it's not
I found while playing the game that if you are more of an intense gamer who goes for a challenge or a person that wants the whole story up front, this game is not for you
If you're a gamer that just wants to have fun like me then you've found the game for you
That is my opinion on the video game Grand Theft Auto V
I hope you take this into consideration when you consider buying the game
Update: As pointed out by a reader, the June 15 release date for the PS4 and Xbox One is for next year, not this year
The mistake has been corrected in the original article
Original aritcle: 'GTA 5' on PC may be coming out later than the PS4 and Xbox One versions
According to a report from Segment Next on April 18, Altex has listed the fifth numbered installment of the 'Grand Theft Auto' franchise for the computer platform as well as the two next-generation systems
However, the Romanian retailer has slightly different release dates posted when compared to other shopping websites for the software product
Altex is expecting 'GTA 5' to come out for the PC on March 15 as well as the PS4 and Xbox One on June 15 of next year
As a result, computer players may have to end up waiting at least 18 months after the original releases of the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions in order to get their hands on the popular video game
In comparison, 'GTA 4' came out for the PC seven months after being released on the current-generation consoles
The Altex listings somewhat contradict what other retailers are saying in regards to the rumored release dates for 'GTA 5' on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One
A retail manager at Saturn stated that he heard that the video game would be arriving for all three platforms sometime later this summer
Even with all of the potential leaks of the ports, the publisher has not provided any indications regarding the developments of the new versions
A potential announcement could be made in the near future, perhaps at the E3 2014 event in June
The studio at Rockstar North is still focusing on providing post-launch support for 'GTA 5' on the PS3 and Xbox 360
The development team is planning several big DLC releases for this spring with the 'High Life Update' as well as multiplayer heists
Several new story-based expansion packs are also expected to come out later this year
You can find an image showcasing one of the recent 'GTA Online' DLC packs from the official Rockstar Games Twitter page with the picture located to the top of this article
'GTA 5' on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One should look better than the current-generation console versions due to the more powerful hardware setups
Among the visual improvements that could be made is a higher native resolution support along with a faster frame rate clip
The potential PC, PS4 and Xbox One releases should also help boost the sales of 'GTA 5,' which has already sold more than 32
Rockstar Games has now released the latest patch for Grand Theft Auto V on both Xbox 360 and PS3
Fans will be automatically prompted to download the update the next time that they start the game
The developer released a full list of patch notes on April 8 which completely detailed all changes that have now been applied to the game's online multiplayer mode
12 contains numerous bug fixes, gameplay tweaks, and even a few new features
The biggest change introduced with the new update is the ability to call Lester for the ability to bribe police to look the other way
Fans may be aware that they could previously call the in-game contact to pay a fee to remove their current wanted level
12 gives players the ability to pay Lester a fee to bribe the authorities so that they will be unable to acquire a wanted level for a brief period
This allows gamers to prepare for their crimes ahead of time to preemptively avoid trouble with the law if they know that they are about to commit a crime such as a store robbery
The update also makes is so that competitive jobs will grant more cash payouts when there are fewer than four players
In an attempt to get more user feedback, fans will also receive 50 RP any time that they either like or dislike any content within the game
While in the match lobby, waiting for the match to start, fans can also now view the map for the job that is about to begin
This both gives gamers something to do before the match starts as well as prepare for the session as the map also shows all item pickup locations
In addition to the listed changes above, Title Update 1
12 also implements dozens of bug fixes to GTA Online
This includes everything progress blocking issues to the prevention of known exploits
The full changelog can be viewed now on the official Rockstar Support site
Grand Theft Auto V is out now on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360
Rockstar Games is also launching the Capture Creator Update this Friday which will allow players to create their own Capture Jobs using the in-game mission creation tools
The Grand Theft Auto series has come a long way since the first game was released, and the police are definitely no exception to this in the newest installment -- Grand Theft Auto V
Honestly, it is as if Rockstar made all of the police officers attend a more aggressive police academy class
Here are some of the tactics that law enforcement use in Grand Theft Auto V:
In previous games the law enforcement would bash into you, yes, but in Grand Theft Auto V they seem to have more tactics built in
Officers seem to be able to successfully pit maneuver your vehicle much easier, or hit you at a high rate of speed hard enough from behind that your vehicle crashes into a wall
The officers will then box you in intelligently to the point you have nowhere to go and open fire
Although not new, it should be said that these bad boys are still used
The law enforcement trucks carry these, so be aware if you see an officer standing stationary next to a truck on a road
Your best bets are to to far left around the strip, to the right around the truck, make a turn down a side road if you have time, or pull a 180 and burn rubber in the opposing direction
If you run over the strips, your vehicle will be severely damaged and your ability to maneuver and hit a decent speed will be substantially decreased
Once a crime is committed, the police will commence on that area in a rapid manner
When they see you drive away, they'll give chase, obviously
If you bail out on foot the police will give updates that can be heard over their police radios in vivid detail
There are many tactics they use, especially once you get into the upper star range
But here are some tips that players can use to evade law enforcement in this game:
In previous games you could easily outrun police by speeding away in a linear fashion
In this game it is a bit different; I've found that taking a multitude of side roads away from a particular area gets me away from the police much easier
On a main road, such as a highway, it seems that there are active patrols when they're searching for you, so you can easily get stuck getting caught by marked units
Hiding in a bush can be a successful way to evade police
Imagine that you are almost away from the police, but your car somehow gets damaged and a couple of tires pop
There you are, driving at the speed of a snail to get away
Merely hop into the bush and ensure that your whole body is hidden
However, it should be on the bottom of your list of tactics to use to evade police
" By this I mean that there are some places that are underground or under a bridge, a "normal" layer where the main roads are, and then there is upper levels, such as on top of buildings
For example, you have a star or two are need to evade police
You have a lead of a couple of blocks and see a ladder on the side of a building leading to the top of a building
You hop out, climb the ladder to the roof and take cover
Other times I've ran off the side of a bridge and have hid under it -- the stars eventually went away
If you're near the area where the land transitions from the "city" to the "wilderness," you can use it by heading North into the open to try and avert law enforcement
This works best if you have an off-road friendly vehicle
There is an abundance of alleyways and small little spots to hide when trying to evade police
Of course this will only work if you have a certain lead on the police and they do *NOT* see you gain access to these areas
I've used parking garages, spots behind fences and buildings, and private driveways
Get practice handling the vehicles in Grand Theft Auto V
How can you use flashier tactics if you cannot handle the fundamentals
Try weaving in and out of traffic at high speeds, learn to pull quick 180 degree turns, learn the map and specific maneuvers that you can do in these particular spots (Such as spots where there is a large drop off or ramp), and so on
Also, try to intentionally crash and recover from the crash
This will help you when police officers successfully pit maneuver you or push you into a wall, as you'll have to quickly recover and get out of there before you get boxed in and turned into Swiss Cheese
Of course it'll get much more difficult to evade the police with the higher ratings, but it is possible
Use these tactics and others out there to successfully evade law enforcement
This is especially true with how easily police will start to chase you for, well

'GTA Online' heists are slated to arrive later this spring season
However, a fan managed to create a simulated experience for players who couldn't wait for the next patch to enable the cooperative missions in the multiplayer mode of 'GTA 5
' According to a report from International Business Times on April 16, the new user-created missions are designed to be similar to the upcoming heist jobs
The recently-added capture modes are an off-shot of the classic capture the flag match types found in other games

5 million copies of the current-generation iterations have already been sold so far with a majority of the players playing the multiplayer mode at least once
The potential 'GTA 5' on PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions should help increase the popularity of 'GTA Online
A retailer has hinted at the release date time frame for 'Grand Theft Auto 5' on the PS4, Xbox One and PC
According to a report from Behind Games on April 8, a manager from Saturn revealed that he has heard that 'GTA 5' is expected to be coming to all three aforesaid platforms in June
The rumor aligned with previous reports that suggested that the PS3 and Xbox 360 video game is going to be ported later this summer
Even with all the potential leaks, however, Rockstar Games have not yet issue a statement with regards to 'GTA 5' coming to the PS4, Xbox One and PC systems
Porting 'GTA 5' to more powerful platforms does have some benefits
The frame rate issues from the current-generation console iterations is most likely going to be addressed while the video game should also render at a higher native resolution
The summer release time frame for the new versions 'GTA 5' should help Rockstar Games from a financial standpoint due to the lack of new releases to compete with, especially on the PS4 and Xbox One
The company announced through the Rockstar Newswire that they are still planning several post-launch updates for the 'GTA 5' single-player campaign and 'GTA Online' modes from the PS3 and Xbox Gta 5 pc 360 versions
The multiplayer heists will finally be added later this spring while new story-based expansions are also coming out later this year
According to IGN, 'GTA 5' has already sold more than 32
5 million units so far even without being released for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One
The fifth numbered entry from the 'Grand Theft Auto' series was released in 2013 on Sept
17, two months before the launches of the two next-generation systems
'GTA 5' should sell more on the PS4 when compared to the Xbox One
Sony's new console currently has a healthy lead in terms of hardware sales over Microsoft's platform in North America and other regions
13 patch for "GTA 5" did not come out at a time in which many fans were expecting
According to a report from Product Reviews on May 1, the title update was speculated to be released late last month
Although Rockstar Games did not mention anything over the past several days, one potential insider revealed that the development team may have ran into some "complications
The "GTA Online" mode has caused many problems for Rockstar North
At launch, a lot of players ending up losing progress due to the cloud saving feature
Furthermore, exploiters have been taking advantage of numerous glitches in order to quickly earn a huge amount of cash and reputation points
The development team ended up releasing a bunch of patches
13 title update was expected to include the "High Life Update" for "GTA Online
" It will add new DLC apartments to purchase as players should be able to own multiple properties
Furthermore, a few new vehicles, weapons and clothing options are included in the expansion as well
Similar to the previous DLC packs for the multiplayer mode, the "High Life Update" should be free for the end user
Based on the previous release patterns of title updates for "GTA 5," Rockstar Games could be planning to release the 1
The company has been updating the open-world action-adventure video once a month starting with the 1
Rockstar Games did disclose that the "High Life Update" should be coming during the spring season
Furthermore, the company is also planning to add "GTA Online" heists into the fold at around the same time
Product Reviews believed that the long-requested match type would be arriving through the 1
Although only the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the open-world action-adventure video game are available, it may also come out on other systems
Several leaks and retail listings are hinting that "GTA 5" on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One will be released in the future
A formal announcement has still not yet been made by Rockstar Games, however, the publisher of the software product
You can find a screenshot depicting the PS3 and Xbox 360 iterations from the official Rockstar Games Twitter page with the image embedded near the top of this article
12 patch for 'GTA 5' and 'GTA Online' is causing freezing issues
According to a report from Gamepur on April 8, the crashing problems occur for both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the open-world action-adventure game
Fortunately, a potential fix for the lock-ups may have been revealed
Players could clear up the system cache from the hard disk drive of the PS3 and Xbox 360
The option to do so should be located on the XMB menu of Sony's console and Dashboard of Microsoft's system
12 patch added several new features along with addressing some exploits and glitches
Among the new additions is the ability to create capture jobs in addition to calling a character named Lester in order to get rid of your wanted level from the police force
However, it appears that the title update also added a new bug to 'GTA 5' and 'GTA Online' that caused the PS3 and Xbox 360 to freeze
Rockstar Games will most likely provide an easier and more permanent fix in a future update
12 patch is expected to be the first of many being planned for this spring
Rockstar Games previously announced plans to add cooperative heists to 'GTA Online' along with a new expansion pack called 'High-Life' later this spring season
The company is also planning to continue the exploits of Franklin, Michael and Trevor with new expansions for the single-player campaign of 'GTA 5
'GTA 5,' which is now available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, has sold a record-breaking 32
However, several fans are still holding out hope for a potential port to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One platforms
Several retailers have begun to list the new versions although no announcement has been made by Rockstar Games
One of the most important aspects of newer video games is immersion, involving players in the worlds of the games so completely that they want to play for hours
Creating this kind of gaming environment requires continual improvements in artificial intelligence, so the characters within these games appear to act as if they are actually living their lives in these worlds
The newest addition to the GTA series, Grand Theft Auto 5, has come up with some of the most convincing Non-Playable Characters (NPCs) that players have seen to date
While playing as a main character, you can hide from police in bushes
You can also dodge police during a car chase by turning off your lights and parking
This leads players to believe that the cops within the game can be "tricked," which can be a very exhilarating experience for players who are trying to make an escape
If a character has a high wanted level, police officers will start to use hand gestures, instead of shouting orders
This is probably used to make the escape harder, since players have to pay attention to those hand signals in order to know what's being planned, but it also creates the illusion that the NPC police officers are taking the situation very serious
Artificial intelligence can be expressed in many ways within a sandbox game like Grand Theft Auto 5, including everyday life events
NPCs can be found playing games of tennis, which can be watched to completion
Also, there is an online website within the game where major and minor characters post about life events
Some players have highlighted the fact that the three main characters in Grand Theft Auto 5 have their own, individual phone preferences, but that's not nearly as interesting as catching an NPC receiving a phone call
If players listen to a prostitute's phone conversation they can hear reasons as to why the NPC has resorted to selling her body to earn money, such as student loans
Also, a street performer might break character in order to receive a phone call
Such events add a huge dash of realism to a video game world
If it starts to rain, some NPCs will start looking for places to stay dry
Some female NPCs will get "nervous" if you follow them too closely
They'll display behaviors such as looking over their shoulder, and walking faster
Such subtleties add an extra layer of realism to the game
Having NPCs worry about such things as weather and possible attacks are interesting, but GTA 5 also adds more realism to the way NPCs act defensively against your aggression
Store clerks will pull their own weapon on you if you try to rob them with a gun that's out of ammunition, and cops will pull injured partners to safety if given the opportunity
Such acts of self-preservation are some of the most realistic innovations to artificial intelligence players have seen
If you steal an NPCs taxi, they might get mad at you, and could try to pick a fight
If you take a picture of a street performer without tipping, don't expect them to be happy about it
Most importantly, don't flip off one of the in-game police officers unless you're ready to escape arrest, because it's not going to go over well
Anger is a powerful emotion, and it's nice to see improvements to this aspect of artificial intelligence
These are all impressive innovations to artificial intelligence, and Grand Theft Auto 5 is a good example of the direction video games need to go in order to keep players interested in the video game worlds they spend a great deal of their lives living in
With the next generation of consoles just around the corner, it will be interesting to see what the future of the Grand Theft Auto series has in store for us
If you have ever tried converting You - Tube videos to MP3 audio files, you will have noticed how painfully slow the You - Tube to MP3 converter products are
Most of them will take just as long downloading the video as it takes watching it in your browser, and who needs that when all you want is to grab the sound track so you can play it back on your MP3 player
There is a new product in town, Free You - Tube to MP3 Converter TURBO
This turbo-charged You - Tube downloader and converter works up to ten times faster than other similar products
By using a clever You - Tube downloader accelerator technique invented by its developers
They assign a maximum bandwidth per video displayed on their site, because they know the user does not needed to download the video as fast as possible when he just views it in his browser
It just needs to be fast enough for real-time playback
You - Tube downloader products suffer from this bandwidth limitation too, but not Free You - Tube to MP3 Converter TURBO
This product simulates ten users viewing the video, which allows it to download the video up to ten times faster
Another annoying limitation that other You - Tube downloader products have, is that you can only download one video at a time
This, combined with the slow download speed, makes downloading and converting lots of You - Tube videos to MP3 a pain
Again, Free You - Tube to MP3 Converter TURBO comes to the rescue
Not only is downloading super-fast with this product, it also supports downloading multiple videos at once - and easily too
It adds a Download & Convert button to your browser, and all you have to do is click the button when you are on the You - Tube video page
By default, it handles 4 videos simultaneously, and queue others you add while it is busy
When a video download and conversion is complete, it automatically grabs the next video from its queue
Other You - Tube downloader products offer additional features for a cost, or disable all features after a trial Period
You get the fastest and most convenient You - Tube downloader and You - Tube to MP3 Converter for the amazing price of
This is a true freeware product, just as we like it
With Grand Theft Auto 5 on its way, many of us are excited, which we should be
So to prepare for this upcoming game, I recently played through the previous game in the series, Grand Theft Auto 4
The first time I played through this game on the Xbox 360, I was not as blown away as I was when I played Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
However, nostalgia has a way of helping anybody to appreciate a game much more
The question is: does GTA 4 hold up to today's standards
Lets roll up our windows and take a trip back to Liberty City and find out
Niko has come to Liberty City to escape from his problems back home in Russia
He meets up with his cousin Roman Belic and it seems as if Niko may get the chance at a new life
However, things go sour really fast for Niko as he discovers that Roman has a serious financial problem with the wrong people
One thing leads to another and Niko soon finds himself mixed up in a life of crime just to help him and Roman survive
Meanwhile, Niko is searching for a man who betrayed him during the war
This plot point seems rather pointless because we are not even shown a flashback scene as to what happened during the war
Without seeing what happened to make Niko want to kill this guy, we cannot understand what Niko is going through
Therefore, we cannot feel Niko's pain and it makes it difficult to care about this revenge plot
Later in the story, Niko seeks revenge against another man
I will not give away the details but with this particular revenge plot, we know what happened and it's much easier to see why Niko wants this person dead
The previous revenge plot seems out of place and is very forgettable
Niko basically goes through different employers, does jobs, and makes money
To be fair, however, the characters and dialogue are both very entertaining
Niko has a lot of moments where he says something funny, which makes him a fun protagonist to play as
The conversations that we hear throughout this game are all very interesting and hard not to pay attention to
While the story lacks direction, the characters and dialogue more than make up for it
GTA 4 leans more toward realism than previous GTA games
You have a cell phone, just like in other GTA games
The only difference is that in GTA 4, you can call other people to progress in the story, or to do activities with them
These activities include shooting pool, bowling, drinking, eating, and many more
People may also call you to arrange an activity to do
This can be annoying at times, especially when you're trying to progress in the game, then Roman calls you up wanting to bowl or something
The most frustrating thing about GTA 4 has to be the control
This makes gunfights in the game more difficult than they should be
Granted, GTA 4 does have a duck and cover mechanic, but it even this can be frustrating to use during a tight situation
Niko moves like he's being weighed down by 200 pounds worth of items or something
It takes too long to turn around to look behind you, so if somebody starts shooting you with a shotgun when you're not looking, you're basically dead
Most of us do not take forever to make a 180 degree turn
The control on foot is bad, but it is nowhere near as bad as the vehicle control
Driving a car in GTA 4 feels like driving a big truck
It's heavy, it makes wide turns, and it's easy to flip over
Again, the difficult vehicle control is supposed to be part of the realism of this game
Even though I am sure that most of us do not have difficulties turning a corner without sliding or flipping the damn vehicle over
The worst part about the horrible vehicle handling in GTA 4 is that a majority of the missions that you do, involve you chasing somebody down in a vehicle
Until you adapt to the way that the vehicles handle, you're going to fail these missions constantly by crashing into things and falling behind
Speaking of the missions, there is hardly any variety in the missions that you do
You are either going to be eliminating a target, picking somebody up, retrieving an item, or for the most part: chasing a vehicle
I suppose it would not be a GTA game without a chasing mission
I can only assume that Rockstar wanted to make GTA 4 the best in the series by having a chase mission after every other mission
Other than the annoying missions where you chase down vehicles, there is not a whole lot to say
Most of the missions are predicable and offer no surprises
It seems like I have had much more fun playing pool than I have had playing most of the missions
My favorite activity in GTA 4 was definitely catching a show at the comedy club or the cabaret club
The stand-up comedians at the comedy club were hilarious and the cabaret club had humorous performances as well
Another feature in GTA 4 is the ability to surf the internet
Not the actual internet, but the internet in the GTA world
You can check your email, reply to messages, meet women to date, and even look at the latest news in Liberty City
It is also interesting using the internet to access the police databases
These databases contain the criminal records of just about every character in GTA 4 and it is very amusing to look at the records of some of these characters
As for the multiplayer modes, they can be a lot of fun if you're partied up with the right people
The multiplayer modes include death match, team death match, cops and crooks, free mode, and more
The multiplayer seems more worthwhile than the actual single player mode does
If you're teamed up with a lot of your friends, free mode can be a blast
I find it incredibly fun to go on an all out rampage with all of my friends, just to see who all can make it out in one piece
Rockstar made a smart choice when they put multiplayer in GTA 4
The audio in GTA 4 is very well done, just like the other GTA games
You can hear the characters and the radio loud and clear, as you would expect in a GTA game
Some of the guns still have the misfortune of sounding unrealistic, but overall, the gun noise in GTA 4 is an improvement over previous GTA games
In my opinion, the soundtrack could have been better
Coming off of San Andreas, I was expecting to be blown away by the soundtrack in GTA 4, just like I was in San Andreas
However, GTA 4 does not have a decent rock or metal radio station
I have always been disappointed with the soundtrack in GTA games that took place in Liberty City, and GTA 4 is no exception
Granted, the commercials are still hilarious to listen to just like in previous GTA games
In fact, the commercials are my favorite part of listening to the radio stations in GTA 4
There were some moments where it was easy to tell that the voice-actors were pouring their hearts into the characters that they were voicing
The excellent voice-acting made the characters seem like real people and it was easy to connect with them
GTA 4 is a good game, but it does not leave a lasting impression like its predecessors
Liberty City itself looks incredibly dull and makes the entire atmosphere seem boring
Playing this game today, I still had as much fun as I did when it was first released, but I hope that Rockstar takes a different approach when developing GTA 5
I find it disappointing giving any open world game such a low score, but other than the memorable characters and seeing what happens at the end of the story, I feel no urge to continue playing the single player mode of GTA 4
If you're a fan of the GTA series, I would still recommend it
It is only 20 dollars now, which is a good deal for any open world game
However, if you do not like games that focus too much on realism, there are plenty of other open world games to play that are more deserving of your time
Dark rooms and chemical developing techniques may have become past times in the age of digital photography and photo editing, but advancements in technology mean more room for innovation and the ability to manipulate images
One popular method of photo editing involves what is known as deep etching
Using this technique means removing an object from its original background
Deep etching allows you compartmentalize photographs and isolate images
For example, you could take a simple picture of a leaf lying on the ground and deep etch the leaf from its background leaving you free to impose that image on a different photo or simply a different background
Deep etching is a straightforward concept that is now easy to execute, thanks to technology
Ultimately, the ability to deep etch objects means that the designer has greater freedom and is not limited by the boundaries of the original photograph
Another benefit of advancements in photo editing is that technology has made these techniques readily available to amateur photographers and designers through simple to learn programs like Photoshop
Learning how to deep etch is as easy as completing a readily available tutorial through any popular photo editing program
Aspiring digital artists and designers will also be happy to learn that there is a thriving online community of other artists who are happy to offer advice and instruction
There are three different recommended techniques that will allow you to successfully deep etch an image
Each one involves a certain attention to detail and a willingness to be meticulous
t as simple as pointing and clicking just yet, but a little patience will go a long way in this case
As far as choosing the best way to deep etch, every expert seems to have their own favorite
Luckily, information and guidance is readily available and all the options can be easily explored and experimented with, leaving you to decide which technique works best based on your project and abilities
It seems that the open exchange of knowledge speaks not only to the passion of these artists, but also to the manner in which new ideas and techniques and spread and perpetuated
Mastering the art of deep etching may take some time, but learning the technique and completing your first deep etch can be accomplished in less than an hour
This means that the average person with a digital camera and a computer has the opportunity to learn deep etching and apply advanced online photo editing techniques to their own work, whether it be family photos or small business publications
Photography and design is no longer limited by what the photographer can capture through their lens at a particular moment
Digital photography and photo editing has also taken away some of suspense of developing your photos
You can instantly see the results of your shot and avoid the expense of reshoots or wasted film
So while there may be a few hold outs, who enjoy the nostalgia of the dark room and feel of loading film into a camera, the era of digital photography is here and it is available to everyone
The signatures calling for the release of 'GTA 5' on PC has surpassed a new milestone
According to a report from Breathe Cast on April 24, the much publicized petition asking Rockstar Games to port the fifth numbered entry from the 'Grand Theft Auto' franchise to computers have now accumulated more than 700,000 members
The same online form had 650,000 signatures earlier this year, suggesting that more and more fans are still waiting for the PC version
Rockstar Games appear to be comfortable with letting the demand build up
Dan Houser, the co-founder of the company, did state in late 2012 that the publisher is considering porting 'GTA 5' to the PC as well as other consoles such as the PS4 and Xbox One
However, he has remained silent on the subject since making his initial comments on the situation
Fortunately, several retailers are giving fans some hope regarding 'GTA 5' possibly being released on the PC
More than a few online shopping website are now taking pre-orders for the computer port, as well as the PS4 and Xbox One versions, of the open-world action role-playing game
The release dates for the software products could arrive as early as June of this year
'GTA 5' has already been a massive financial success for Rockstar Games
The video game shattered sales records when it came out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 console on Sept
The company is also making a lot of money off of the micro-transaction DLC cash cards from the 'GTA Online' mode
More than 70 percent of 'GTA 5' players have tried the multiplayer portion at least once
You can find a box art of the software product from the Rockstar Games twitter page with the picture near the top of this article
The Rockstar North development team recent revealed their current plans in regards to 'GTA 5
' The studio is planning to further update 'GTA Online' with multiplayer heists and other new DLC packs
The single-player campaign should also be getting new downloadable expansions sometime later this year
The same downloadable contents should be made available for the rumored ports of 'GTA 5' on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One
Ahsan Rasheed has clarified some recent statements he made in regards to several potential PS4 and Xbox One software products
According to a report from Gamepur on May 5, he first stated that Naughty Dog is not the first-party studio from Sony Computer Entertainment he was referring to when talking about an eastern-influenced PS4 exclusive game
The mysterious title apparently looks even better than the visuals produced from the Snowdrop engine being used for "Tom Clancy's The Division
Ahsan Rasheed also provided more details in regards to a Japanese role-playing game that is in development for the Xbox One
Mistwalker is most likely the developer behind the project
The company previously co-developed "Blue Dragon" along with Artoon as well as "Lost Odyssey" with Feel Plus
The company also worked on "Cry On" with Cavia before it was cancelled
Following the Xbox 360 projects, Mistwalker seems to be partnering with Microsoft again with a new video game for the Xbox One
Moreover, the insider posted a small update in regards to two software products from Rockstar Games as well
He admitted that he has no idea if "Agent" is still in development
However, the development team still wants to create the new intellectual property as it is a "dream project" for the company's founder
However, Ahsan Rasheed did confirmed that "GTA 5" should be heading to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One although he did not provide a concrete release date
Finally, not all of the software products he mentioned may be showcased at E3 2014
He explained that some of the projects are still very early in production
On the other hands, he believed that perspective buyers will end up getting the Xbox One next-generation console at some point based on what he had heard
The aforesaid "GTA 5" has already achieved record-breaking success on the PS3 and Xbox 360 as it generated more than $1 billion in revenue in less than a week after launching on Sept
The success would continued as the video game went on to surpass 30 million units sold so far across the globe
"GTA Online" also helped Rockstar Games generate additional revenues with micro-transactions
"GTA 5" is rumored to be coming out as soon as next month for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One
The release date makes some sense as the summer season is usually a slow time in terms of new software product releases
As a result, a lot of computer and next-generation console players would gravitate towards the open-world action-adventure game
You can find a screen featuring "GTA 5" on PS3 and Xbox 360 from the official Xbox Facebook page located near the top side of this article
Rockstar has always managed to surprise and intrigue us with amazing content in their infamously popular "Grand Theft Auto" series
However, not every feature they have added to the game is something that all gamers felt were necessary
For instance, having to go on social calls and constantly being pestered on the cell phone in "Grand Theft Auto IV" left a lot of people annoyed and frustrated
However, the offset of using Natural - Motion's Euphoria engine attached to Rockstar's own proprietary Rage engine helped to quell some of the anger about the annoying cell phone feature with amazing animations, NPC AI behavior and advanced character motions
While little is known about Grand Theft Auto V at this point, what we do know is that the world will be much larger than "Grand Theft Auto IV" and it will bring back a lot of the features gamers loved in the widely acclaimed "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
" But here are a few extra features that Rockstar might want to consider adding if they want GTA V to properly evolve over its predecessors
In "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" it was possible to recruit gang members to come along with you on some missions
During brief periods of the game these members could ride shotgun with you on missions, while you were just cruising town or while trying to level up your character
While you could call along a few NPCs for backup during some missions in "The Lost and Damned" DLC in "Grand Theft Auto IV," you couldn't actually recruit anyone to tag along for any long periods of time
One of the things GTA V needs is to recruit and keep NPCs if you want to, a little like Vivendi Universal's "Scarface: The World Is Yours," which allowed gamers to hire bodyguards, drivers and hitmen
A feature like this in GTA V could really help extend the playability and evolve the franchise
One of the worst aspects of the "Grand Theft Auto" games has always been the shooting mechanics, that was until GTA IV
While the over-the-shoulder aiming mechanics have been much improved over previous iterations in the series there's still some fixing to be done
For instance, running-and-gunning wasn't much of an option in GTA IV because once the trigger was pressed the camera would go back into the over-the-shoulder view instead of letting gamers fire from the hip
This made it especially difficult to shoot while running, even if for the sake of trying to get someone to stop running or to at least attempt to slow them down, whether you were doing the chasing or being chased
One of the ways they could improve the shooting is making it more streamlined like Gamers - First and Reloaded Productions' "APB: Reloaded
" When you're not aiming in the over-the-shoulder mode the game lets you run and gun rather conveniently in any direction
That's how it should be in GTA V, this way while chasing someone down an alley or across the street, it will be easy to clip them in the leg without losing your stride
This was implemented lightly in "Grand Theft Auto IV
" Boxes, crates, barrels, windows and cars were all destructible in the latest GTA outing but it just wasn't enough
Essentially, all the destructibility in GTA IV was mostly borrowed from EA's open-world franchise, "The Godfather
What GTA V needs is some intense destruction that includes more than just cars and crates
High powered rifles should be able to penetrate thin walls
Wooden doors should be able to shred under shotgun fire
Things need to topple over and physics need to hurt more
The vehicle destruction in GTA IV was perfectly done but it's time they evolve it and take things to the next level
On the topic of destruction let's talk about a very important topic of "Grand Theft Auto": death
In all the games before GTA IV killing was an easy-peasy effort that was more comical than anything else
In "Grand Theft Auto IV" there was an air of realism to shootouts where it wasn't always about killing, and it was possible to incapacitate some NPCs during battle however they need to take it a step further in GTA V
Wounding certain body parts should have different effects on an NPC, such as shooting them in the leg and having them hobble off instead of staying and fighting, or making a shot to the gut an HP draining effect that slowly kills during the battle
What's more, some wounds should render characters unable to fight as opposed to them constantly fighting to the death
Being able to knock someone unconscious should become an option for those who don't always want to run and gun, and the AI needs to become sophisticated enough to try to avoid being shot as much as possible
This kind of feature would give the game a more tension-ridden atmosphere than in previous GTA titles
Seems simple enough but being stealthy was never much of an option in GTA games
4, having the option to sneak around behind someone and knock them out would give the game a much more diverse set of play options as opposed to always confronting enemies head-on
This kind of feature was very slightly brushed upon in "GTA: San Andreas" where Carl could sneak into people's homes to steal objects or when he had to raid a rap music mogul's mansion, but other than that stealth did not play a big part in the game
More optional stealth elements could easily increase the replay-ability and the fun-factors for "Grand Theft Auto V
" Imagine robbing a bank at night and waiting for the guards to change shifts before robbing it or storming a location with a silencer and taking out the men before they know what hit them
Hopefully its something Rockstar considers adding to the latest game in the series
The last major addition to the series, Grand Theft Auto IV, was released early 2008, so a new game could very well be near
Some analysts speculate that it could be released as early as holiday 2011, but most predict the release date to be in 2012, due to key producers' contracts expiring in January 2012
Location is so far unknown, but it is plausible that the game will return to San Andreas, because of the great success of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Rockstar's casting studio Telsey & Company is reportedly looking for a "weed evangelist" and a "swinger, mellow California divorcee"
These are characters that could fit well into a GTA game, specifically in San Andreas
Rockstar has also began creating job openings that could be related to the game
Recently they began advertising a position to work on "the multiplayer part of our current next-gen title"
Take-Two, the distributor of GTA, recently made news by registering five domain names that could be for the next GTA game: "Cash - For - Dead - Dreams
If these are to be used in the next game in the in-game internet, then we also know that the setting will likely be in the current time
Grand Theft Auto 5, possibly codenamed "Rush", may be revealed at this years E3 Expo
This will happen in early June, and if we don't Gta 5 pc hear anything from Rockstar by then, then it will be a long time before we see the next installment of GTA
Rockstar has other titles, such as Max Payne and L
Noire, that could be taking priority in development over Grand Theft Auto, which explains the delay in any information about it
However, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter predicts that development of GTA 5 concluded in 2010
If this is true, we should be expecting an official announcement in the near future
More retailers have started to list and accept pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One
According to a report by Got - Game from April 11, a major Romanian retailer now has a product page advertising GTA 5 for PS4 and Xbox One along with a potential release date
Furthermore, a German retailer manager has stated that GTA 5 will release for PC along with a PS4 and Xbox One version within the next couple of months
If the Romanian product listing and German retail manager are correct, it would appear that GTA 5 will come to PC, PS4, and Xbox One in the near future, though the retailers disagree on an exact release date
The German retailer has disclosed that GTA 5 will release for PS4 and Xbox One in June of this year
However, Altex, a major retailer in Romania, lists an estimated release date for June 15, 2015
To date, numerous international retailers have advertised and started to accept pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto 5 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One
Many of these retailers have promoted summer 2014 release dates for the title, however, Rockstar Games has not officially announced any plans to bring GTA 5 or GTA Online to PC or to Xbox One and PS4
With more and more retailers promoting GTA 5 for PC and next-gen consoles, it seems highly likely that something is going to be announced in the near future
It has been heavily rumored that GTA 5 will be announced for PS4 and Xbox One at E3 2013 in June
2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and has sold over 30 million copies worldwide
Rockstar Games launched the massive-online multiplayer game GTA Online in Oct
2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360 and has since released a number of content updates and DLC packs
This simple term began as a crime that one committed which involved stealing automobiles
Since 1999, Grand Theft Auto has come to mean much more
It has sparked a cultural movement in many ways than one
Despite all the achievements that the Grand theft Auto series has achieved, it is not without its controversial short comings
In my opinion, these short comings are what make GTA, a definite artifact of our modern history
It's been two long years since we were first introduced to Niko Belic and his new found playhouse, a re-imagined Liberty City
Now the time is upon us where gamers are pulling their hair out awaiting the next release of GTA
Rockstar Games has made sure to keep a very tight lid on any details of their next entry, but one of the biggest questions left up to speculation is where will the next GTA take place
I highly doubt that the next GTA will take place in Liberty City
The city was brilliantly re created for GTA IV and offered a fantastic setting for the gritty rags to better rags story of Niko Belic, however, it would be tremendously disappointing for gamers to have to sit through the same locale as their last blockbuster title
Vice City being used as the next locale for a GTA V is far from out of reason
It was a great city that many people enjoyed for a number of different reasons
My only gripe is that, Vice City doesn't offer too much diversity in terms of setting and scope
Vice City was good because it had a unique 80's vibe to it
If Rockstar plans to backtrack and go with an 80's setting for the game then Vice City would be a perfect choice, but for a more modern dated title, I wouldn't pick Vice City
It's not the largest city that Rockstar has developed which is also a drawback since most open world games tend to shoot for an expansive environment
All in all, I don't think that Vice City would translate well into a present day themed title
If we take a look back to early 2007, only 4% of gamers thought that GTA IV would take place in Liberty City
I think that this time GTA will take it's setting back to their biggest playground yet; the state of San Andreas
San Andreas is by far, GTA's best in the series and offered a setting that was gritty and exciting, and still managed to add the flair that Vice City delivered
The story of GTA: San Andreas took players over multiple different environments and settings
Starting out as a low profile former gang member who returns to his roots in Los Santos, then dumped in a small town in the middle of the woods where the story would take place for the next several hours until you ran away with a hippie to the next major city on the list San Fierro, where you would work shady dealings and jobs for the triads and Hispanic gangs, only to be forced to leave and take up residence at a abandoned airfield in the middle of the desert (breathe), then make your way to a fabulous reincarnation of Las Vegas called Las Venturas where you would do some jobs for the mafia then finally make your way back home to Los Santos to help put an end to the riots that were plaguing your "hood"
There is so much that happened over the span of so many different locales within San Andreas
With today's hardware, San Andreas would be a gold mine setting for the next GTA game
Now add two more Algonquin's to the map, and add different environments such as mountains, woods, deserts, smaller towns and cities and forests between them
That's just an estimate of what a San Andreas map would look like
I must point out a very basic point that I have noticed
They have most likely known where GTA Vor the next GTA will take place for quite some time
A few years ago, Terry Donovan, one of the founders of Rockstar Games, revealed that he and the rest of the Rockstar Games team knew that they were going to set up a trilogy with the GTA series
The trilogy began with GTA III being set in the present day with Liberty City as the location, then GTA: Vice City, with its 80's theme, then the 90's with San Andreas
If GTA IV is any indication, Rockstar may be setting gamers up for a repeat of that very same trilogy strategy, only this time on the next generation of consoles
I don't want this to be true, but it seems very likely
The next release would be a GTA: Vice City then a GTA: San Andreas after that
I would not put it past Rockstar if this is revealed to be true
Let me know what GTA location you think will be next in the series in the comment field below
The release date gap between the potential PC versions and original console iterations of 'GTA 5' has been compared to 'GTA 4
' According to a report from Gaming Bolt on April 21, the fifth main installment of the 'Grand Theft Auto' series has been available on the PS3 and Xbox 360 for more than 216 days
As a result, Rockstar North is expected to take the longest time ever in the series to port the video game to the PC
'GTA 4' took approximately the same amount of days as it came out for the PC on Dec
The PS3 and Xbox 360 version were released on April 29 earlier in the same year
The fourth numbered entry of the series did not end up arriving for computer platform until 217 days after the initial console launch
'GTA 5' on PC has not yet been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games
So it appears that the sequel should easily surpass 'GTA 4' for the longest release date gap between the computer and console iterations of the series
However, several retailers are expecting that the port should be arriving to the PC, as well as the PS4 and Xbox One, in the future (perhaps as early as this summer)
The new versions should look and run better when compared to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions
The post-launch patches and DLC packs should also be included in the discs
The development team is also planning several major updates for 'GTA 5' on the two current-generation consoles
The 'GTA Onlin
