The World Cup 2010 will be held in South Africa now. It will likely be played at ten stadiums in nine different parts of the country for any full month from June 11 to July 11. On the part of South Africa there's a massive effort to make the big event a great success. The country is doing its better to rally the full continent behind the trouble. The International Marketing Company of South (IMC) is spearheading the campaign. Paul Bannister, the Chief Executive of IMC is full of confidence that their efforts will bear fruits. A series of television advertisements have already begun to stir up the eye of not just the South Africans alone, but also those of Africa all together. The Vuvuzela trumpet of South Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro of Kenya and also the tribals of Giza, the place that the historic Egyptian Pyramids rest are some of the features used for these advertisements. They stress the point that the show is assigned to Africa overall, not South Africa?s alone.

Rumors are finally official. Much was talked during the summer about Samir Nasri's need to abandon Arsenal, after he refused to sign an agreement extension. Despite the Gunners losing a superb talented midfielder whose profile will probably be tough to replace, financially it had been a fantastic call considering that Nasri could have gone free next summer, when his contract expired. But he didn't and Arsenal received $24 million from Manchester City for that transfer, twice the fee that they paid to Marseille.

The UK Charts are unlikely to switch much throughout January because of reduction in large game releases. While we may see titles switch places, we can't see anything game changing till February when a fresh slate of new titles release. Dying Light: The Following, Far Cry Primal, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will all release in February each get the chance to capture the superior spot. Until then, we'll watch the charts and see if every other title can challenge Call of Duty: Black Ops III for the very best spot.
