NI recently confirmed on their message boards that Traktor does indeed internally mix in 32bit Float for maximum audio quality, I run my outputs as 24bit/44.1k because I do not believe that you gain anything by running any higher, and the 24bit space leaves room to have more accurately, less compromised audio at the analog out than if you were outputting at 16bit.

Moving individual stems into place is one of the Native Intelligence selling points for the S5. It remains to be seen if click this option will be used, or efficient.
