I have a substantial DJI Phantom quadcopter and bought this for my grandson (and maybe grand daughters) to use. They do not truly get close to it. It requires a small additional ability than the Phantom as it does not have all the electronic controls but it is a single tenth of the price so that is no criticism. The studying curve is not that steep and it does not take Wltoys v959 motor replacement long prior to controlled flights around the living room are doable and give a excellent sense of achievement.

Drone flight stability is effected by the wingspan. Smaller sized, lighter, quads with a shorter wingspans are wonderful for indoor flying in which wind is not a component, but can be relatively unstable outside in the aspects. A more substantial drone is a lot more geared toward smoother outside flights but are tougher to navigate by way of tighter places.
